Conscious Yoga
Conscious yoga is just that, doing yoga consciously, being aware of every movement every breath, every thought.
The classes are usually fairly demanding with some dynamic yoga and Pranayama, so some experience is helpful but not necessary, I can and will accommodate beginners. There is plenty of variety and each class can be very different but all working toward being more conscious in your yoga practise.
When I first started practising yoga I was in it purely for the exercise, thinking it was a good way to get toned up and even lose weight maybe, little did I know where the journey would take me. Life in general takes you on many ups and downs, but with yoga there have certainly been more ups than downs. In the end though you learn that the to’s and fro’s of happiness are what cause you the unhappiness, so having equanimity and learning to be in a state of equilibrium is where you find true peace.
