Exploring Raw food became a passion, John (my husband) and I were on a journey of healthy living and juicing among other things, when we came across raw food. Basically highly nutritious foods alchemized, which hadn’t been blasted by heat to reduce the quality of the nutrients within the food. Plant based and delicious. We were already vegetarian so utilizing the knowledge I had gained through diversifying our diets I began to implement more raw foods into our diet. I could go into a long story here but I just wanted to give you the basics.
Nowadays Exploring Raw is a business. I have been making Raw Cakes and chocolate for over 10 years. I started by selling raw chocolates from a cool box out of the boot of my car at summer festivals and camps. We then expanded into the Exploring Raw Chai shop, where my raw chocs and cakes were devoured by many, at our own community gathering Sundara and other similar events. I really relished in making new recipes and seeing the response and looks of pure ecstasy on the faces of people eating what I had made.
I then decided it was time to share some of the knowledge and recipes I had put together over the years and expanded into running raw food workshops. More workshops = more people eating healthy chocolate. I feel this is one of my gifts to the world.
