Throughout the night an array of planetary gongs will be played, taking us around the solar system, to return to earth feeling more aligned and rejuvinated, alive and peaceful. Sending us back into the world with vigour and vibrancy and a new found sense of calm and peace.

When you arrive, we will set up our beds (we may sleep or we may not) then push them to one side making space for our opening circle where we will set our intention for the healing sound journey together.

This will be followed by a clearly structured meditation practice, either seated or moving, or both. There is usually an active part to the meditation that will be led by myself. (Tanya). This helps us to get the blood and oxygen moving around the body which helps with settling into the vibrations and sounds of the gongs and crystal bowls. There will also be some cacao on offer for those that would like to partake.

If unsure about the cacao here is a little info on that aspect of the evening.

Cacao is a stimulant which releases seratonin and endorphines, it helps us to regain insight on how to live in the moment with a sense of ease, trust and connection to all that is, a warm feeling of connection with ourself and others around us. Unlike coffee which contains a high concentration of caffine that stimulates the nervous system and can give you an alert and jittery buzz, cacao contains an abundance of theobromine that stimulates the cardiovascular system giving an all over hightened awareness of the bodys natural rhythm and connection to all that is.

After the opening practices we will settle in for the night with the gongs being played throughout the night from about 10pm – 6am, quietly mainly, so you can sleep if you want to but still receive the benefits. Some people naturally drift off into sleep, others may feel the effects and stay awake a little longer.

What more could you ask for?

What to bring?

Some comfortable bedding, like an airbed or camp bed with douvet, sleeping bag, blanket, pillows etc for your own comfort.

A water bottle, there will be spring water and herb teas available throughout the night.

Comfortable clothing to sleep in, maybe a change of clothes for the morning if you like. Don’t forget a toothbrush and toothpaste.

We will provide vegan cake for breakfast served with a lovely hot cup of fresh spiced Indian Chai

There will be raw vegan chocs for sale which are delicious, please bring a bit of cash if you think you might like to buy.

Everyone that comes is super friendly, so if you want to come on your own and you’ve never been before you will be in good company and no doubt make some new friends.

The hall is pretty big so can accomodate quite a few of us.

The more the merrier.
